The podcast is an interview with Dr. Max Rothschild, professor of
agriculture and life sciences and director of the center for integrated
animal genomics at the Iowa State University College of Veterinary
Medicine. Dr.Rothschild has been studying genetic component of
cryptorchidism and his study found some interesting and surprising
interaction of the genes located on chromosomes X and 1. In other words,
this male condition, comes from an X chromosome, not Y. It involves two or
more genes.
