DWAA Award for Magda Omansky

The Dog Writers Association of America (DWAA) holds its annual awards banquet in New York City each February. It’s the culmination of the writing competition and of the DWAA year. At the banquet the first-place winners in each category are announced and receive the highly regarded Maxwell Medallion, an engraved medal disc on a decorative ribbon.
In February 2010, the DWAA’s 2009 Maxwell Award for Best Feature in All-Breed Magazine went to our very own Magda Omansky for On the Scent of A Killer, which appeared in the AKC Gazette, December 2008.
