I am writing to invite you to contribute to the “John W. Francisco Memorial Challenge Trophy.” This new trophy commemorates John Francisco for his contributions to our breed and our Club, and it is for the Winners Dog of the Norwich Terrier Club of America’s national specialty each year.
John was an exhibitor, mentor, and dear friend to many of us. He worked tirelessly for the betterment of our Club. John was one of the first board members of the Club when it separated from the Norfolk Club. John served as Trophy Chair and Show Chair for many years, and he was instrumental in organizing the Club’s shows at Purina and Louisville. We all knew that if anything needed to be done, we could always rely on John and his wife, Elsie, to step up and get it done in a top-notch manner.
The 2023 NTCA Specialty at Montgomery County will be dedicated to John’s memory and we plan to have John’s trophy constructed and ready so that it can be inaugurated at that show.

The deadline for submitting your donation is July 15th. We plan to announce the Trophy in an ad in the Montgomery County catalogue and will be listing the names of all the donors.
